£2.4m spent on search for April

The spiralling cost of the continued hunt for missing five-year-old April Jones is
set to come to as much as
£2.4 million.

April was last seen near her home in Machynlleth, Wales, on the evening of 1 October. It is more than 11 weeks since the schoolgirl was snatched from the close-knit Bryn-y-Gog estate where she lived.
