Probe in death of spy killed by poison

A High Court judge will hold a pre-inquest review into the death of Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko next month, officials said yesterday.

Mr Litvinenko, 43, was poisoned while drinking tea at a meeting, allegedly with two Russians – former KGB contacts Andrei Lugovoy and Dmitry Kovtun – at the London’s Millennium Hotel in 2006.
