Princes William and Harry visit grandad Philip in hospital

PRINCE William, the Duke of Cambridge, and his brother Prince Harry visited their grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, in hospital yesterday.

Prince Philip is undergoing further treatment for a suspected bladder infection which caused him to miss the latter stages of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations this week.

The Prince, who turns 91 tomorrow, is unlikely to be out of hospital to mark his birthday, Buckingham Palace said. Prince William was able to visit him briefly as he is on leave from his RAF search and rescue work. Prince Harry is on pre-deployment training at Wattisham in Suffolk this week.

It is hoped Prince Philip will be back at the Queen’s side by next week.
