PRINCE Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas attended one of their first official engagements together yesterday at a charity event in Wembley Arena.

Miss Bonas, 25, who has been dating the prince for almost two years, arrived with her sister Isabella and her husband Sam Branson separately to Harry, but the pair were later photographed sitting together.

The prince, who was given a pop star’s welcome, joined stars of stage and screen at the UK’s first We Day, a North American-led charity programme, which aims to encourage young people to engage in social action to improve the lives of others.

When he took to the stage he was greeted with a crescendo of noise which prompted him to refer to the singer from boy band One Direction. He said: “For those of you expecting Harry Styles, I apologise and, no, I’m not going to sing. I feel extremely privileged, and incredibly nervous, to be standing here in front of you today.”
