Post office owner finds wife dead after raid

A POST office owner described how he found his wife dead after an armed robber fled with a large amount of cash.

Robin Garbutt told police the masked man went into his shop in the North Yorkshire village of Melsonby and said "we've got your wife" before demanding cash from the safe. When the raider left, Mr Garbutt found his wife, Diana, upstairs dead.
