Polish teen killed as he protected his girlfriend

A POLISH teenager was stabbed to death after he tried to protect his girlfriend who was attacked on a bus.

Marcin Bilaszewski, 19, was killed outside Finsbury Park tube station on Saturday night, Scotland Yard said.

A row broke out when a man started shouting abuse at Mr Bilaszewski and a group of his friends who were travelling on a bus.

Reports say he was trying to protect his girlfriend who was punched by the man.
