Police formally identify canal torso

Detectives have formally identified the headless torso discovered in the Regent’s Canal in London on Tuesday as that of former EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie.

She was murdered and dumped in a canal after attending a hospital opening ceremony. Her 35-year-old brother Tony remains in police custody for questioning.
