Williams was found dead on Friday night in Brynglas woods – just a mile from where the incident took place.

Earlier, a member of the public reported finding Williams’s grey Mini Cooper beside a canal and police found his body in the woods about an hour later.

Police said that they were not treating the death as suspicious or looking for anyone in connection with it.

Family liaison officers from Gwent police are supporting the relatives of those involved.
