Peers urge action on motor insurance

Drivers should have to display insurance details on their windscreens, peers have urged.

Tory Baroness Oppenheim-Barnes led the calls for the French system to be introduced. Earl Attlee, for the government, said 1.2 million vehicles were recorded as uninsured.
