Paul Weller, Godlike fella

CHART veteran Paul Weller is to get a top prize at the NME Awards – the annual Godlike Genius title.

The former frontman for The Jam will receive his award and perform at the O2 Brixton Academy in south London on 24 February. Former Pulp star Jarvis Cocker will host the annual bash.
