Parents hit out after coats confiscated

PARENTS have criticised a school after it confiscated warm coats worn by pupils because they were not part of the uniform.

Angry parents branded the policy of Aylesford School Sports College in Kent "outrageous" after it ordered students to hand over the non-school issue garments after many had walked to school in –4C temperatures.
