Parents guilty of 'fronting' insurance

AS MANY as 10 per cent of parents are breaking the law over their children's car insurance, with mothers the main offenders.

One in ten motoring parents has insured a child's car in their own name, putting their son or daughter down as the second driver – a practice known as "fronting" – a poll by moneysupermarket.com found.
