Oxford child sex ring trial hears of death threats

A WOMAN wept as she described how a gang of men threatened to burn her younger brother alive unless she had sex with them.

She was one of six girls allegedly exploited by nine men from the Oxford area over eight years. Girl A, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said she was repeatedly raped and sold for sex between 2004 and 2007 when aged 12 to 15.

Now aged 21, she told a jury at the Old Bailey she was pressured into having sex with three of the defendants, Kamar Jamil, 27, Akhtar Dogar, 32, and Anjum Dogar, 30. If she refused, they would threaten to hurt her family, the court heard.
