Overweight adults top 1.475 billion

THERE are more overweight people in the world than the entire population of China.Figures show there are one billion overweight adults in the world and a further 475 million who are obese.

This compares to China’s population of 1.349 billion, the analysis from the International Association for the Study of Obesity shows.
