One shot dead, one injured at Camberwell flat

A MAN has died after being shot in the head at a party.

The 23-year-old was taken to hospital but died later, Scotland Yard said. The incident took place yesterday morning at a flat in Camberwell, south-east London.

A Yard spokesman said police were called to the property shortly before 5am. They believe they know the victim’s identity but formal identification is awaited.

Another man arrived at hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle. Officers believe he was shot in the street near to the flat.
