One in 100 drivers swap penalty points

ABOUT 1 per cent of drivers have swapped penalty points with another driver to avoid losing their licence, an AA/Populus survey has revealed.

Some 12 per cent of the 16,961 AA members polled said they would report swap attempts, and 13 per cent knew someone who had exchanged points.
