A GROUP of MPs are to investigate the takeover of Cadbury by US food giant Kraft, it was confirmed yesterday.

The business select committee will question senior officials from both firms and union leaders on 16 March. Kraft provoked outrage after reneging on a pledge to keep open Cadbury's factory in Somerset.
