MPs outlaw African terrorist group

MPs agreed yesterday to outlaw a suspected terrorist organisation believed to be responsible for the murder of a British man kidnapped and killed in Nigeria.

A motion was approved in the House of Commons to proscribe Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis Sudan (Vanguard for the protection of Muslims in Black Africa), known as Ansaru.
