MP calls for an end to ‘whip bullying’

Government whips are guilty of workplace bullying designed to turn MPs into “lobby fodder” to support ministers’ decisions, a Tory MP has claimed.

Peter Bone said employers could be taken to a tribunal if they used similar tactics against staff, and called for the posts to be abolished.
