Monthly household income falls by £50

Families were almost £50 worse off last month than they were two years ago – and strong growth in their spending power will remain “elusive”, a study has said.

Households’ discretionary income improved in November, but the rate of improvement slowed as food costs rose, Asda’s Income Tracker found.
