Missing youngster found in canal dies

A YOUNG boy has died after he was found in a canal after going missing from his home.

The two-year-old was reported missing in the West Cotton Close area of Northampton just before 6pm on Saturday. His body was recovered from the nearby Grand Union canal 30 minutes later. Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
