Miliband chides CofE over veto on women

THE Church of England will continue to appear divorced from the modern world until it allows women bishops, Labour leader Ed Miliband has said.

Mr Miliband said that while it was up to the Church – which continues its veto on women in senior roles – the reform was “the right thing to do”.
