MciPhone app can create a tartan

TREND setters can now get their hands on a tartan iPhone app that lets users create their own tartan.

The download, called iTartan, costs 59p and has been given a five-star review by iTunes users.

Users can browse through a gallery of more than 1,500 designs including the tartans of Aberdeen FC, the 1986 Commonwealth Games and even the weave of the FBI.
