Man held in rape inquiry

A MAN has been arrested by police investigating the rape of a teenager in the Capital.

The 16-year-old girl had been walking her dog on a footpath in the Crewe Toll area at about 10pm on Wednesday when she said she was attacked.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said a 22-year-old man had been arrested and was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
