Almost 16 million people tuned in to watch Tom Daley fulfil his dream by earning an Olympic bronze medal on Saturday night.

Just under 13 million viewers watched Mo Farah secure a golden double in the 5,000m, seven days after the athlete set the Olympic Stadium alight with a storming run to win the 10,000m.
