Lineker slams BBC sport cap

MATCH of the Day presenter Gary Lineker hit out at BBC proposals to cap spending on sports rights.

Subject to BBC Trust approval, the Corporation plans to cap the amount it spends on sports rights to 9p in every licence fee 1 to plough extra cash into high-quality "content".
