Lifetime award for John Hurt

ACTOR John Hurt will be presented with a lifetime achievement award at an international film festival today.

The 70-year-old actor, who has starred in films such as Alien and The Elephant Man, will be given the Bradford International Film Festival accolade for work that has spanned six decades.
