Lib Dems to duck coalition

THE Liberal Democrats would refuse to enter a coalition government with Labour or the Tories in the event of a hung parliament.

Nick Clegg, the Lib Dem leader, is set to concentrate instead on extracting support for key policies in return for helping one of the parties form an administration, it was reported today.
