Kate Winslet names her new baby boy Bear
ACTRESS Kate Winslet has named her third child Bear, it has been revealed. The Titanic star gave birth to the 9lb baby boy two weeks ago but her son’s new name was only yesterday made public.
The 38-year-old, who gave birth at a Sussex hospital, has two children from previous marriages but this is her first with new husband Ned RocknRoll. Baby Bear will take on his mother’s surname and not his father’s, it was reported.
The Oscar-winning actress, who grew up in Reading, Berkshire, is the latest in a long line of celebrities to give their child an unusual name.
Winslet already has two children – Mia Honey, 13, with her first husband Jim Threapleton, and Joe Alfie, 10, with second husband Sam Mendes, the film director.
