Kate Moss shows Elizabeth Taylor look for Paris

SUPERMODEL Kate Moss appeared to take inspiration from Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor when she made a rare appearance on the catwalk for the star-studded Paris Fashion Week.

Pictured in a floor-sweeping lavender negligée gown, the 39-year-old wore a dramatic black feathered wig, to match the “old Hollywood” theme of the show.

The Croydon-born star’s violet gown was decorated with purple flowers and was paired with matching sandals and nail varnish for the Louis Vuitton’s Ready to Wear Autumn-Winter collection.

She was later snapped posing with top designer Marc Jacobs, right, who attended the event in a set of garish embroidered pyjamas. “It’s a mix of many eras, there’s some Gloria Swanson and a lot Hollywood,” Jacobs said of her look. He added: “She’s so many different women, there’s a certain decadence . . .”

Ms Moss’s husband, Jamie Hince, and her daughter Lila Grace were both present at the show, as were Academy Award-nominees Naomi Watts and Jessica Chastain.
