Inquiry into claim police gave boy cider

THE police watchdog will investigate claims that detectives gave a 17-year-old cider so he would admit crimes he did not commit.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission has extended an investigation into the alleged treatment of the youth by two detective constables from South Wales Police.
