Honourable move for gay partners

PARTNERS of gay knights and peers should be called “the honourable” to recognise their spouses’ titles, an MP has said.

Tory Oliver Colville called for civil partners of gay men and lesbians and the husbands of straight women to be allowed to use prefixes. The custom currently extends only to wives.
