Home life suffers in gloomy climate

THE GLOOMY economic climate is taking its toll on the nation’s health, wealth and happiness, according to a new report.

The poll, which surveyed more than 2,000 adults across the UK, revealed that 70 per cent are struggling to devote time to their life priorities, nearly half (45 per cent) are finding it hard to find time for having fun, and 44 per cent are unable to spend time keeping fit.

The findings of the Scottish Widows third annual Priorities of Life Index also revealed that people’s home life continues to take a back seat, with 14.2 million people feeling like they are neglecting it – an increase of 1.5 million since last year.
