Holidaymakers face passport price hike

BRITONS who have lost their passports abroad will have to pay more for replacement documents from next week.

The cost of issuing passports overseas, including temporary and emergency documents, is to rise by 2.9 per cent from 6 April. A standard passport for over-16s issued overseas will rise to 128, an emergency passport 71, and emergency travel documents 91.50.
