Group meets to step up dementia battle

LEADING voices from dementia research met for the first time yesterday to drive up the volume, quality and impact of work in the field.

The ministerial group brought together charities, scientists and research bodies in London, in a bid to help scientists get access to more research funding. Sufferers will reach a million in ten years.
