Gay hip-hop star Frank Ocean’s album ‘best of year’

A DEBUT recording by US
musician Frank Ocean has been hailed as the album of the year in a definitive poll of critics.

The album Channel Orange triumphed in the annual HMV “poll of polls” which draws together the choices of UK music writers.

The 25-year-old hip-hop artist, whose recording has so far made it to No 2 in the UK charts, was last week nominated for six Grammy Awards.
