Gambler 'tried to start casino fire'
A GAMBLER appeared in court yesterday accused of trying to set fire to a casino after losing £40,000 at roulette. Parviz Mashayekhi, 46, allegedly sprayed petrol over staff and gaming tables at the Connoisseur Club in west London last Friday.
He was remanded in custody until 9 January.
