Film–maker David Peat dies aged 65

FILM-maker and photographer David Peat has died at the age of 65, the BBC said.

Peat’s career spanned 40 years, and he was best known for work that focused on the lives of ordinary people.

Last year, he was given a Bafta Scotland award.
