Eye operation for Mini the puffer fish
A PUFFER fish has undergone a delicate operation to remove an eye after developing a cataract.
Mini, who has lived at Bristol Zoo’s aquarium for eight years, developed a cataract last year and vets decided the fish needed an operation.
“We had to move quickly to help Mini,” said Jonny Rudd, assistant curator of the aquarium.
