Energy firms to face new sanctions

ENERGY watchdog Ofgem has vowed to impose financial penalties on suppliers who frustrate businesses trying to switch to another provider.

The regulator is concerned some firms are being rolled over on to new contracts lasting up to three years, often without their knowledge.
