Duke misses Italy because of a cold

THE Duke of Edinburgh has pulled out of an overnight trip to Assisi in Italy due to illness, Buckingham Palace confirmed.

A spokesman for the 90-year-old Duke said that despite his cold he is expected to undertake official engagements in the UK later this week.
