Driving ban for war veteran, 90

Ex-Grenadier Guardsman Roland Morris, was caught in a radar speed trap doing 42mph in a 30mph zone last year.

Disabled Mr Morris, who was injured on active service in Africa in 1943 during the Second World War, was in his motability car on the A38 in Somerset.

He already had nine points on his licence and was banned under the "totting up" procedure when he appeared before Taunton Dene magistrates in January.
