Dimbleby slams lack of history

BROADCASTER David Dimbleby criticised the lack of history teaching in schools.

The 71-year-old's current BBC1 series The Seven Ages Of Britain shows viewers the history of the country through its art and treasure. Dimbleby said the popularity of such programmes suggests people are hungry to know more.
