Death linked to party drug mephedrone

North Yorkshire: The death of a 24-year-old woman is the latest thought to be linked to the "party drug" mephedrone, police said.

The woman, who has not been identified, was found by a friend at an address in Norton, near Malton yesterday morning.

Detectives believe the woman may have taken mephedrone prior to her collapse.

• London: The funeral will take place today of Rifleman Martin Kinggett, 19, from A Company 4 Rifles.

He was killed in Afghanistan on February 25 as he and his comrades were providing covering fire during the rescue of an injured colleague.
