Dead baby found at railway station

A MURDER investigation has been launched following the discovery of a baby's body at a railway station.

The newborn girl was discovered at around 11:20am yesterday by a cleaner who was emptying bins near to the southbound platform at Fleet station in north Hampshire.

An ambulance was called, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
