David Guetta’s Titanium tops the UK singles charts

French producer and DJ David Guetta hit the top of the singles charts last night with his track Titanium, featuring Australian singer Sia.

It moved up the charts by one place, replacing Twilight by Cover Drive, which dropped to number six.

Alone Again by 18-year-old Canadian Alyssa Reid, featuring dance music producers Jump Smokers, entered the listings from the Official Charts Company at number two.

Somebody That I Used To Know by Belgian-Australian musician and singer-songwriter Gotye, featuring Kimbra, rose from number seven to number three.

Former number one Domino, by Jessie J, dropped one place to number four, while Wild Ones by Flo Rida, which also features Sia, remained at number five.

In the album chart, US singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey came straight in at number one with Born To Die.

Canadian veteran Leonard Cohen followed Del Rey into the chart a place behind with his highly acclaimed album Old Ideas.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran dropped two places from number one with his acclaimed debut album +, while Adele slipped to number four with 21.

Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto dropped from two to five.
