Dame Maggie Smith portrait unveiled

ACTRESS Dame Maggie Smith has swapped the high society of Downton Abbey for high art after a new portrait of the star was unveiled.

The six feet by three feet painting of the Oscar-winning actress was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery and painted by James Lloyd.
