Copyright law reforms call

THE country's outdated copyright laws need to be reformed before they lose all credibility, a consumer watchdog said today.

A study by Consumer Focus found 73 per cent of consumers do not know what they are legally allowed to copy or record. Only 15 per cent knew it was illegal to copy a CD or DVD to an MP3 player, the poll found.
