Consumers boycott ‘tax–avoiding’ firms
A THIRD of Britons are boycotting companies they consider are avoiding their tax obligations, a survey suggests.
The poll for the international development charity Christian Aid found 34 per cent of consumers are snubbing the products or services of a company “because it does not pay its fair share of tax in the UK”. Another 45 per cent were considering a boycott.
