Comic convicted of speeding in Bentley

COMEDIAN Jimmy Carr has been convicted of speeding. He drove his Bentley GT at 50mph in a 40mph zone in Boxford, Suffolk, prosecutors said.

Carr, 37, who was not present for the hearing at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court, was caught by a speed camera in April 2008. He was fined 300.
